For many years now, we - Unico Graber AG in Baselbiet and Unico Graber GmbH in Lörrach - have maintained partnerships with various local institutions. This resulted in great projects, but also in friendships, which connect us very strongly with these institutions.

REGIONAL ROOTS CARRY A LOT OF WEIGHT
Long before the word “sustainability” became a trend, Unico Graber was already paying close attention to such issues. Above all, the direct environment and regional roots were and are always important to us.

This is demonstrated, for example, by the fact that we consider business partners from the region – whenever possible. This shortens the distances and, if necessary, we can meet within a very short time to tackle projects and topics. This also allows for an optimised use of resources. So the slogan “from the region, for the region” really makes sense.

Despite our geographical location in the border triangle (CH/GER/FR), it is also a matter of course for us that our national companies do not profit from their possibly more favourable neighbour. This means, among other things, that in Germany craftsmen from Germany work for us, while in Switzerland we have Swiss companies and craftsmen. Without exception.

Lebenshilfe Lörrach

Unico Graber GmbH in Lörrach works closely with Lebenshilfe in Lörrach. The team led by Stephanie Sänger works precisely, is full of verve and has an enormous connection with our company.

Hope21

What if the rug is suddenly pulled out from under you? For example, by the diagnosis of Down syndrome? The association Hope21 supports parents during this time and shows them that life is worth living, even or especially with trisomy 21.

Recycling and printing with a social background

The use of resources is an important topic for us. That is why we have created UNICOrecycling: A project to collect our used eye protection prod- ucts and recycle them, if possible. The company “Recycling-Boy” takes care of the sorting, which is done in cooperation with disabled people.

Print shop Dietisberg

We ourselves have been working with our partner Dietisberg for decades in the area of customisation – for example, concerning the printing of customer logos. This print shop specialises in supporting men with a wide variety of impairments.
