Unico Graber has been manufacturing its products in Hölstein since 1980. Thirty-one years after having purchased the property, we still stand by our production location in the Waldenburg valley. We are easy and quick to get to. Our company employs precision-oriented, qualified co-workers and is set in wonderful surroundings with a lot of farming and beautiful nature. Furthermore we are also closely connected with this valley and ist environment both socially and emotionally. Our roots are here. We are firmly anchored here.
Our actual production is automated to a large extent these days. Most products, however, require a final assembly. We already outsourced this work for some time and thereby incorporated various local social institutions. The success of these co-operations encouraged us to also create jobs for people with a disability within our company.
Great flexibility, flat hierarchies, quick decision- making processes and a profound knowledge are our strengths. However, we could never produce our products so quickly and still at a high level of quality if we abandoned our local partners and moved away to a lowwage country instead. So we are staying put right here!
